For Thanksgiving this year we volunteered at the mission downtown. We were originally going to serve dinner, but they had twice as many volunteers as people there to eat. So instead, we went to another building and sorted all of their food donations. We had a really great time, it was fun to be there with our families and it really felt like we were doing something to help. Afterwards, we went to my mom and dad's for dinner, ate WAY too much and planned our shopping route for the next morning.

That is so cool that you guys went and did that. I have always wanted to volunteer, but never think about it until last minute. That is a must for next year for sure...hopefully Brian doesn't work.
