Santa

I took Carter and Lucy to see Santa at the mall this year. Carter loved Santa - and he isn't usually very friendly to people he doesn't know. He sat on his lap and told Santa how he wanted a "jungous car" for Christmas. I am guessing he means humongous. Then they talked about transformers for awhile, so Carter thinks Santa is pretty cool. Lucy was really good with him, too. She was mostly interested in his beard!

Christmas Tree

Every year we drive to the Pine Patch in Horseshoe Bend to pick out our Christmas tree. We watch The Polar Express in the truck and roast marshmallows while they get our tree ready to go. It is so much fun - here are some cute pictures from this year.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year we volunteered at the mission downtown. We were originally going to serve dinner, but they had twice as many volunteers as people there to eat. So instead, we went to another building and sorted all of their food donations. We had a really great time, it was fun to be there with our families and it really felt like we were doing something to help. Afterwards, we went to my mom and dad's for dinner, ate WAY too much and planned our shopping route for the next morning.

Halloween

So I know I am way behind, but I have so many cute pictures from Halloween I still wanted to post them. Lucy was dressed up as a flower and Carter was a race car driver - big surprise, I know. He thought he was Lightning McQueen. We had an awesome time trick-or-treating. Carter loved it! We walked down the hill to Banbury and Lucy was asleep by the time we got there.

Lucy is Crawling!

It is official - Lucy is crawling! Here are a few pictures of her up and at it (and under the table!)

Bath Time at the Cabin

We spent this last weekend up at McCall. Here are some cute pictures of bath time - Steve even joined in the fun!

Picking Pumpkins

Here are some fun pictures of all the fall stuff from our garden. This year we planted Indian corn, gourds and all kinds of pumpkins. We had fun picking it out of the garden and using it to decorate the house!

The Zoo and Art in the Park

We had another fun weekend! On Friday night we went and saw Kung Fu Panda. It was so cute and Carter loved it. On Saturday we went to the zoo and then to Art in the Park. If I counted correctly, we had six adults, eight kids, and five strollers. Needless to say, we didn't get to do a lot of shopping, but we sure had fun! The last picture is of Lucy having a soda after a long, hot day at the park.

Lucy

Lucy is on the move now! She rolls all over the place and can push herself backwards. She can cross a room in no time - especially if she sees something she wants. She is also eating cereal and vegetables now. She looks so little sitting in Carter's highchair. Not real exciting news - I just wanted a chance to post a couple of cute pictures of Lou....

Labor Day Weekend

This Labor Day Weekend we went to the first Boise State football game of the season. Amber got Lucy her first Boise State t-shirt, so of course she had to wear that. I didn't get a chance to take her picture until she had drooled all over it though! On Sunday we drove up to McCall to spend the rest of the weekend at the cabin. As you can see, Steve didn't labor too much.....

The Fair

Here are some of our pictures from the fair this year. We went on both Sunday and Monday - on Sunday with my family and Monday with Steve's. It was super hot, but Carter had so much fun. He got to ride some rides, eat some good food and he loved feeding the animals. He especially loved the goats!
