I took Carter and Lucy to see Santa at the mall this year. Carter loved Santa - and he isn't usually very friendly to people he doesn't know. He sat on his lap and told Santa how he wanted a "jungous car" for Christmas. I am guessing he means humongous. Then they talked about transformers for awhile, so Carter thinks Santa is pretty cool. Lucy was really good with him, too. She was mostly interested in his beard!

Thanksgiving
For Thanksgiving this year we volunteered at the mission downtown. We were originally going to serve dinner, but they had twice as many volunteers as people there to eat. So instead, we went to another building and sorted all of their food donations. We had a really great time, it was fun to be there with our families and it really felt like we were doing something to help. Afterwards, we went to my mom and dad's for dinner, ate WAY too much and planned our shopping route for the next morning.
Halloween
So I know I am way behind, but I have so many cute pictures from Halloween I still wanted to post them. Lucy was dressed up as a flower and Carter was a race car driver - big surprise, I know. He thought he was Lightning McQueen. We had an awesome time trick-or-treating. Carter loved it! We walked down the hill to Banbury and Lucy was asleep by the time we got there.

The Zoo and Art in the Park
We had another fun weekend! On Friday night we went and saw Kung Fu Panda. It was so cute and Carter loved it. On Saturday we went to the zoo and then to Art in the Park. If I counted correctly, we had six adults, eight kids, and five strollers. Needless to say, we didn't get to do a lot of shopping, but we sure had fun! The last picture is of Lucy having a soda after a long, hot day at the park.

Lucy
Lucy is on the move now! She rolls all over the place and can push herself backwards. She can cross a room in no time - especially if she sees something she wants. She is also eating cereal and vegetables now. She looks so little sitting in Carter's highchair. Not real exciting news - I just wanted a chance to post a couple of cute pictures of Lou....
Labor Day Weekend
This Labor Day Weekend we went to the first Boise State football game of the season. Amber got Lucy her first Boise State t-shirt, so of course she had to wear that. I didn't get a chance to take her picture until she had drooled all over it though! On Sunday we drove up to McCall to spend the rest of the weekend at the cabin. As you can see, Steve didn't labor too much.....
